Monastery of Giromeri: This monastery is dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin, and it was built about 1.300. It magnicicent religious paintings were made around 1679. The Monastery receives daily visitors from sunrise to sunset. It is 8 km from Filiates and 23 km from Igoumenitsa.
Monastery of Ragiou: Built on the left side of the road Igoumenitsa- Sagiades is also dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin. In the past it had been looted many times. Today it has been restored and a small monastic fraternity has been installed. It receives visitors all day long.
